I made this remix way back in 2003 – I think it was an Acid Planet content.
Love the song. Loved Sonic Foundry’s Acid as well, but alas I am a Mac guy now and no longer use it.

This is a song I did a long, long time ago. Synthesized guitars / samples, as you can tell. I started writing a chord progression and was pretty well into it when I realized “hey, this is Creep! Crap!” So I decided to just record it.
Radiohead is one of my faves, so I figured I’d post this.
One of my all time favorite songs, I finally decided to hack together a version of my own. Did this in a couple of hours, and it’s at the far edge of my range, so you might find it a little rough.
But I love the song.
This isn’t finished, but I figured I would post a rough cut of Parker’s new song “What’s Going On At The Mall.” She actually did almost all the vocal work on this one, which is a first for us.
We still have another verse to write, and perhaps some more instruments to add, but this is a pretty good outline of the song.
Mommy and Daddy on hand claps and backing vocals.

My Mom and Dad did a lot of charity / volunteer work with the Boy’s Club and somehow we ended up in a photo shoot with Roger the Dodger. It was very cool, I still remember it.
I believe this was taken at Valley Ranch, way, way back in the day. It shows me (Joe Devine), my brother (Terry Devine) and one of the best QBs ever, Roger Staubach.
Yes, those are cowboy boots and obviously I never grew up to be much of a kicker (pun intended!).
A Joe Devine original song I wrote for my daughter in 2008…but she was only three and couldn’t sing it. So I did. And she did a little bit here and there. It’s a bit hip hop and rap.
lyrics:
my name is Parker
my name is Parker
my hair is blonde but it’s gonna get darker
her name is parker
her hair is blonde but it’s gonna get darker
dolls
yeah that’s right i said it
if you can’t hang with barbie
then you might as well forget it
style fashion art is her game
and so you don’t forget
parker anne is her name
what’s your name again
parker anne
what’s your name again
parker anne
what’s your name again
parker anne
what’s your name again
parker anne
she loves movie
scooby doo is the bomb
sometimes she even watches with her dad and her mom

oh yeah she likes the yum yums
swimming in the pool
don’t want to be hum drum
style fashion art is her game
and so you don’t forget
parker anne is her name
what’s your name again
parker anne
what’s your name again
parker anne
what’s your name again
parker anne
what’s your name again
parker anne
music
she likes to dance she likes to sing
keeping it real is the promise that she brings
magic
her daddy likes to do his tricks
cards in his hands and his moves are pretty sick
snuggles mermaids
she likes to entertain
and so you don’t forget
parker anne is her name
what’s your name again
parker anne
what’s your name again
parker anne
what’s your name again
parker anne
what’s your name again
parker anne
This is a song I wrote with Chris Raspante who was my partner in Red Barn Studio in the late 1990s. He’s now a somewhat famous guitar player in Nashville and in 2012 was touring with Ty Herndon.
He’s also noted for playing the guitar on the the “True Blood” TV theme.
This song was on the J. Gilligan’s 1996 Compilation “Texas Bands and Irish Natchos” although this is the original scrub songwriter’s version and not the version on that album.
Chris is singing, I did everything else but play the guitar.
The lyrics (thankfully) changed before we released the song.
A remix I did of XZIBIT’s “Hurt Locker.”
Acoustic remix I did of Ben Smith’s “Missed Connection” – love this tune.
This is a Joe Devine remix of a song these two outstanding musicians recorded. See Matt’s work at Quiet Company Music dot com or Ice Cream Factory Studio.
I met Matt and Ben when they purchased my custom sound rooms I originally had designed by Calvin Mann of VocalBooth.com. They were custom built for my house in Portland, Oregon and just didn’t fit in my home in Austin. I believe Quiet Company have recorded tracks from their most recent albums in one of the rooms.
Ben used to live in Austin but has since move to Nacogdoches and runs a studio there called Red Truck Studios.
I’ve remixed several songs from these guys, so look for more to come!
