Don’t You Fake It is a pretty solid album, led by “Your Guardian Angel” and “Face Down,” though the former gets the most listens from me on a regular basis.  www.redjumpsuit.com

Great midwestern singer songwriter, in the vein of Paul Westerberg or Freedy Johnson – he’s been called “Baroque Pop.” My personal favorite is his album 1972, though he has some other good albums, too.  www.joshrouse.com

Ben Lee is cool. I like the track “Catch My Disease” because it’s a happy, upbeat tune with a great melody, but the whole album is pretty cool. www.ben-lee.com

I love B&W photography, though I don’t know if I will ever master it.  This was a chilly morning and the photo was taken from the classic “Tunnel View” perspective.

I got this pic on my way over the cascade mountains between Eugene and Bend, OR while on my way to VocalBooth to meet Calvin Mann to get a custom set of studio rooms built for my house in Portland. It looks like a big waterfall, but in reality was only about five feet high.

I took this on my way from Portland to Denver, when I was coming to work at eBags. It was cloudy and snowing most of the way on the trip, so despite getting to go to Grand Teton, Jackson Hole,Yellowstone, and lots of other cool places, I didn’t get many pics. So much for trying the scenic route. At one point I was in a white out in Idaho with no idea which way to go.

I was about 40 yards from this guy in Yosemite when I took this.

The pic that started it all!  After taking this pic with a cheap digital camera, I decided I liked taking pictures and immediately upgraded my equipment and started trying to learn how to take photographs.
